Preferential votes in Lebanon

Mohammad Raad ranks first: 43,797

Eddy Demerjian ranks last: 77

 

The results of the parliamentary elections held on Sunday May 6, 2018 show the following:

  • The Hezbollah’s Shiite candidate Mohammad Raad, who run for office in South Lebanon’s Third District- Qada’a of Nabatieh, has received the highest number of preferential votes (43,797).
  •  Eddy Demerjian, a candidate for the Armenian Orthodox seat in the list of “Zahle Al-Khayar Wal Karar” (Zahle is the Choice and the Decision) led by MP Nicolas Fattoush and comprising candidates from Hezbollah, has obtained the least number of preferential votes (77).
