South Lebanon’s First District: Christian voters have increased by 4.3%, Muslim voters by 16.6%

The number of Christian registered voters in South Lebanon’s First District has increased from 46,504 in 2009 to 48,512 in 2017, i.e. by 4.3%. As for Muslim voters, they have increased from 61,959 in 2009 to 72,253 in 2017, a 16.6% increase. Sunni voters have increased by 15.5%, Druze voters by 19.1%, and the greatest increase was among Shia’a voters (19.8%).
