Beirut II District: Christian voters have decreased by 12.1%, Muslim voters have increased by 14.9%

The number of Christian registered voters in Beirut II district has decreased from 56,823 in 2009 to 49,894 in 2017, i.e. by 12.1%. Christian Minorities recorded the highest decline (28.3%), followed by Greek Orthodox (9.5%), Armenian Orthodox (5.3%), and Maronite (5.2%). As for Muslim voters, they have increased from 254,769 in 2009 to 292,828 in 2017 (14.9%).
