Nahle Families-Southern Majority, Northern Minority and seven members in Beirut

Etymology
Researchers differ in their opinion on the origins of the family’s name. Some believe the Nahles came originally from South Lebanon and were given this name for their tireless labor, which resembles that of the nahle, Arabic for ‘bee’. Others argue that they came from the city of Hama and were generous and big-hearted people.
