Face to Face with Floods - Macaw Book
Published originally by Macaw Book in 2010, the educational series was translated from English into Arabic by Eline Nour Mnnassa and published by Academia International. The story aims to introduce children to natural disasters and casts light on the means of addressing them.

On the fifth day, floods are the central focus of the training. Children are informed on the water cycle and the seasonal winds. Insight is provided into the floods, their causes and hazards, and most importantly the recommended action to mitigate harms and rescue lives when they occur.  Readers are taken on a journey through the history’s most horrible floods, including the North Sea Flood in Netherlands in 1212 and the floods in China in 1931.
