“2009 Parliamentary Elections by Ballot Box, Candidate, and Confession”-Facts Series
Information International followed the Lebanese Parliamentary elections which took place on the 7th of June 2009 from the beginning and as of the issuance of the law number 25 dated 8 October 2008.
Several articles and studies were published in The Monthly and tens of opinion polls were performed at the outset of the election. Certain forecast were made and published in The Monthly June 2009 issue number 83 and were later amended to reflect the results of the polls and published in As Safir newspaper in March, April and May 2009.
Polls that were considered for the benefit of certain candidates remained confidential and were not published. Information International continues to follow up on the election results by publishing in details the results in each district. 5 volumes in Arabic covering the results in Lebanon will be in the market soon.
