Lebanese Voters Abroad:

46,000 “Christians” and 38,000 “Muslims”

The Lebanese communities abroad will be able to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming parliamentary elections on April 27 and 29, 2018 without having to travel to Lebanon. The Law allows them to do so provided they registered their names before November 20, 2017. To that end, 84,156 Lebanese have registered to vote in the elections. They are distributed as follows:

-Christians: 45,827 voters

-Muslims: 38,329 voters

-Maronite: 28,385 voters

-Shia’a: 19,239 voters

-Sunni: 13,721 voters

-Greek Orthodox: 7,313 voters

-Greek Catholic: 4,974 voters

-Druze: 4,614 voters

-Armenian: 2,702 voters

-Syriac: 807 voters

-Other various sects: 2,395 voters

-Australia: 12,132 voters

-Canada: 11,546 voters

-USA: 10,081 voters

-France: 8,541 voters

-Germany: 8,523 voters

-UAE: 5,199 voters

-KSA: 3,209 voters

- Côte d’Ivoire: 2,371 voters

-Brazil: 2,141 voters

-Beirut: 10,655 voters

-Sour: 4,967 voters

-Matn: 4,654 voters

-Zahle: 3,951 voters

-Akkar: 3,781 voters

-Batroun: 3,113 voters

-Zahrani: 3,095 voters

-Trablous: 3,068 voters

-Kessrouan: 2,181 voters
