North Lebanon’s Third District: Christian voters have increased by 3.4%, Muslim voters by 21.7%

The number of Christian registered voters in North Lebanon’s Third District (Bsharri-Batroun-Koura-Zgharta) has increased from 214,431  in 2009 to 221,679 in 2017, i.e. by 3.4%. Greek Catholic voters have increased by 10%, Greek Orthodox voters by 3.5%, and Maronite voters by 3.2%. As for Muslim voters, they have increased from 20,012 in 2009 to 24,965  in 2017 (21.7%) as Sunni voters increased by 2.2% and Shia’a voters by 19.8%.
