South Lebanon’s Second District: Christian voters have increased by 5.9%, Muslim voters by 22%

The number of Christian registered voters in South Lebanon’s Second District has increased from 35,142 in 2009 to 37,239 in 2017, i.e. by 5.9%. Maronite voters have increased by 7.3% and Greek Catholic voters by 3.4%. As for Muslim voters, they have increased from 213,448 in 2009 to 260,459 in 2017 (22%) as Sunni voters increased by 21.9% and Shia’a voters by 22%.
