Mount Lebanon’s Second District: Christian voters have increased by 3.7%, Muslim voters by 28%

 

The number of Christian registered voters in Mount Lebanon’s Second District has increased from 161,037 in 2009 to 166,955 in 2017, i.e. by 3.7%. Greek Catholic voters have increased by 8.5%, Greek Orthodox voters by 6.9% and Maronite voters by 5.7%, whereas Armenian Catholic voters have decreased by 3.5% and Armenian Orthodox voters by 3.1%. As for Muslim voters, they have increased from 8,834 in 2009 to 11,310 in 2017 (28%).
