Mount Lebanon’s First District: Christian voters have increased by 2%, Muslim voters by 25.5%

The number of Christian registered voters in Mount Lebanon’s First District has increased from 147,819 in 2009 to 153,938 in 2017, i.e. by 2%. Armenian Orthodox voters have increased by 9.3%, Maronite voters by 3.5%, whereas Greek Catholic voters have decreased by 22.6%. As for Muslim voters, they have increased from 16,813 in 2009 to 21,096 in 2017 (25.5%).
