Victims of Gunfire on Occasions of joy or sorrow
Alas, this indiscreet gunfire has often led to the loss of lives and limbs and structural damage. In most cases, the perpetrators have gone unpunished and prove to be above the law and accountability.

According to Article 75 of Legislative Decree no. 137/59 (Weapons and Ammunitions Law):
- He who shoots a firearm, licensed or unlicensed, into the air in populous areas or amidst a crowd of people shall be imprisoned from six months to three years or shall be fined LBP 500 to LBP 1000 or both.
- In no case shall the punishment be reduced below the sentence stipulated in the above article.
